Diabetes And Me... Life With Purpose!

Hi, my name is Randy Wood. I lost my mother to diabetes on Mothers Day in 1999. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in March of 2004. Like many of you, I pretty much knew what was going on before the doctor told me. It is easy to ignore it and try to keep moving on. For a while anyway. I am here to help. To help myself as well as everyone who wants to help themselves as well. My goal is to live a healthy and productive life. As someone who has been so tragically affected by diabetes, it is also my goal to teach people what diabetes is and to teach people how to prevent this disease. Together we can make a difference. Together we can save lives.
